The founder of the Jesuit College in Ljubljana is the Slovenian Province of the Society of Jesus<\/a><\/strong>, responding to the needs of the young generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fr Damjan Risti\u0107 SJ<\/strong>
Rector<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Fr. Damjan has studied, lived and worked in several mostly English speaking countries aroud the world. He is passionate about the Bible, giving Ignatian retreats and opera. He often appears in the media and is lecturer at the Faculty of Theology (University of Ljubljana).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Fr Janez Gorenc SJ<\/strong>
Vice – rector<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He spent the past nine years abroad. As part of his general Jesuit formation, he spent four years in Italy, where he completed his novitiate and two years of philosophy studies at the Pontifical Gregorian University<\/a>. He then continued his studies in Paris, where he obtained a master’s degree in theology at the Loyola Paris Faculty<\/a> His thesis was about obedience and life in Christ in Paul’s Letter to the Philippians.
In 2025\/26 he was appointed vice-rector of the Jesuit College and director of the student residence.
In his free time he enjoys studying and researching Paul’s letters, Christology and history in general.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Andra\u017e Snedec<\/strong>
Rector’s Assistant<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A biochemistry student at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology in Ljubljana, originally from Preddvor. During his studies, he lives and works at the Jesuit College. As the Rector’s Assistant he is responsible for organizing and coordinating the Evening Academies.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

He studied philosophy at the Pontifical Gregorian University at the Pontifical Gregoriana University in Rome. He holds another degree: a Masters in Chemical Engineering. In our College, he was in charge of organizing activities. He enjoys reading, listening to podcasts and walking in nature.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

He is from Ljubljana. He completed a degree in Chemical Engineering at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology at the University of Ljubljana. He was also a residential student at the Jesuit College and co-organiser of the Evening Academies. His hobby is music.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Klara was a student of Occupational therapy at the Faculty of Medicine in Ljubljana. Within the College, she was part of the Tangenta podcast team as content coordinator. Her favorite topics are research of relationship dynamics, psychology, psychiatry and psychotherapeutic skills.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
